Questions
Is Upbil a budgeting app?
No. Upbil answers one question: what am I paying for every month, and should I keep it? It doesn't track groceries or set spending limits.
Does Upbil connect to my bank account?
No. You upload a statement you've downloaded yourself. Upbil never asks for your bank login.
What if Upbil gets something wrong?
When it isn't confident, it asks you to confirm before counting a charge. You can correct or remove anything it finds.
What currency will I be charged in?
Upbil's prices are set in US dollars. Apple and Google bill you in your local currency at the equivalent price for your country, so the exact amount on your statement can differ slightly.
Can I share my plan with family?
No. Each plan is for one account and one person. Everyone who wants Upbil needs their own subscription.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes. Change your plan from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Depending on the store, the change applies right away or when your current billing period ends.
Which currencies can I track?
Rupees by default, plus US dollars, euros and pounds. Amounts in different currencies are shown separately, never added together at a made-up rate.
